Severe freezing

CPU: Intel Core i5-2320 @ 3.00Ghz
RAM: 8192MB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
MANUFACTURER/MODEL: ASRock H61M-DGS

I bought a new computer about 2 weeks ago and reinstalled Sims 3 along with all the expansions. I was playing in Bridgeport and decided to switch to Starlight Shores for a change of scenery. This time however, I decided to play with mods. I installed "No Build Sparkles", "No intro", "Velocitygrass's no automatic memories", "StoryProgression"(Twallan), "Overwatch"(Twallan) and "Master Controller"(Twallan).

In the first few Sim days, I didn't encounter any problems. However, it started freezing once in a while in the second Sim week. Over the next few Sim weeks, the frequency of the freezing started to increase. I am currently in the seventh Sim week and the game frequently freezes.

The base game is updated to 1.34. I have also updated my graphics driver to the latest version. What do you think is causing my problem?

It seems that a ridiculous amount of sims are stuck in my game. (44 to be precise) I've tried "resetsim *" but they continue to get stuck everyday. As I have no idea how to locate the area where they're stuck at and solve the problem, I shall move to another neighbourhood.

Hmm. There are fixes for this problem for Sunset Valley, Riverview, Bridgeport, and the WA worlds, but I don't know whether or not there's a routing fix for Starlight Shores. Have a look at HystericalParoxysm and ellacharm3d's routing fixes, to see if there's any useful info in the descriptions or comments.

Oh, this is one of those routing problems? I guess I'll wait for a fix then. Thank you for the links though, I'll definitely check them out.

So basically the solution is.... stay the fuck out of Starlight Shores for now? Wish I had known that before I had sunk three real life days into this family.
