So I made the mistake of letting my parents go on a free vacation. Generally I avoid that like the plague because I know how glitchy EA is with stuff like that, it is the same reason I never send my simmies to boarding school. This time I went ahead and let them go. Of course the parents don't come back. The dad's icon stayed a grey shade and the mom's icon turned green but her picture disappeared and I can't select it. I figure this has to do with the fact that I didn't check age timing and the two youngest twins aged into teens while they were gone. For this I tried
*reseting the parents
*going to edit town mode and switching houses for a few sim days
*going to edit town mode and manually pulling out the family (this only resulted in me not being able to place them anywhere at all)
Finally I gave up and just decided I would have a tragic story of their parents dieing in a horrible plane crash and them fending for themselves. After all the two older twins were only like 7 days away from aging up. The problem is now the house is experiencing glitches and I figure it must be from the parents missing.
My four teens each have their own double beds. Every time I try to make them go to sleep once they are all sleeping one will pop out of bed and pop up somewhere randomly in the house. When I send her back to bed another of the girls does that and it goes on and on like this. I tried just saying screw it and having one girl stay up but then after some time they all pop out of their beds anyways.
I have tried deleting all the beds and the parents old double bed and the purchasing new double beds for the girls and that did no good at all.
I have no CC since I am playing this game on my laptop and I use that as my no CC computer. Only thing I have on there is a world from the exchange by my sim reality called Ann Arbor final but she uses no CC in her worlds.
