Hi, I looked around a bit to see if anyone else had this problem and haven't found anything, so here goes. I hope someone can tell me if this is a bug in the game or just something I have done wrong.. Perhaps a download or something.
I first ran into this problem when I downloaded a sorority from the exchange. After downloading it, I installed it with the S2PCI then went into my game to play. The sorority said that it had 3 people in it so I figured I'd find it in the occupied lots section. It wasn't there, it was in the unoccupied lots. I placed it, hoping i could move into it anyway, even though the Sims that supposedly came with it were not present. After placing it, I tried to move in. I get a message saying the house in a Greek House and I can't move in unless invited.
That's where the problem lies... How can I be invited to a Greek House that has no members in the first place? No one lives there, why can't i just move in? Is there something I can do in SIMPE to get rid of the Greek house flag so I can move people into this lot or am i just SOL and need to remove it from my game.
Now, the other problem... similar but not quite. I have a Sorority in Veronaville and wanted to place it and the Sims into Strangetown. I packaged up the lot, closed out my game. Installed the lot with S2PCI and reentered the game. This time the home was in the "occupied" lots, but after I placed it, and clicked on it to move in, it showed 8 blank (no icon or name, just an aspiration meter bar) Sims lived there (there were only 3 females at first)
I then tried to play it. Well, it said that to play it i had to move Sims in, etc.. Where did the Sims that lived there go?? they are nowhere. I looked around for them in Imper, they just vanished completely... Also, I can't move anyone into the house for the same reason I stated above... it's a Greek house and I can't move in unless invited. Well.. can't be invited if no one lives there. It doesn't even show on the Greek House menu on the phones as one I could possible join.
Any ideas? Is this a University problem or is this a problem with some download? I hope this post made sense aslo.. it's kinda hard to explain. :P
