Okay, a long time ago I made my own pale skin tone, which is being used by atleast ten sims in the game already. Recently I made a better one, which I'd like them to use instead. I know if I take out the one already being used, it'll revert back to a default. My question is- is there any way to replace the one they are using for the new one that I recently made?
I really hope so. I don't want to kill them off just because of a skin tone. Any suggestions? I have simpe, but I'm not too great at using it.

you can use sim surgery ;)
1). Open SimPE
2). Plugins > Neighboorhood > choose the neigborhod where the sim live in
3). Plugins > Sim Surgery
4). In the left frame, choose the sim you want to modify
5). Click on "Use this sim as patient"
6). Click on Export
7). Modify it in Bodyshop (skintone, face, clothes, what ya want)
8). Go in the neighboorhood of the patient sim, and create a family with the modified sim.
9). Close ts and run SimPE.
10). Plugins > Sim Surgery
11). Select the patient sim (old sim) and the archetype sim (new sim).
12). DO NOT click neither ONLY SKIN, nor ONLY FACE.
13). > Surgery
14). Commit and Save.

Yikes! Does this mean though that I'd have to do this for every single sim? Ehh. I was hoping there was a quick way around it, like switching the file with another, or replacing it all together for every sim who using that file. Hmmm.

Youc can also replace the default skins with yours, but, sorry, I don't know how to.

I had to delete all my downloads, because I thought they weren't ep ready. My skintones were though, I re downloaded. When I went into the game WITHOUT them in my downloads folder they reverted, but when I put them in they went back to the skintone that I had them using, I think because the name was the same. Try it.
