sims 2 wont load

hi when i start the game (i have ep) during the loading screen when its about to show the nieghberhoods places (like vernaville and all of those) it says system crashed or something like that or the music keeps playing like da da da da not like duh da da duh dum picked random notes :D can someone help!!!! thank you for all that had helped :fallen:

Have you tried to uninstall and then reinstall with the sims2 only. no EP, then try to play it with only the sims2? Does your computer meet the system requirements posted on the retail sims2 box?

any the sims 2 not the ep? and yes it does have the requirerments it worked fine into now
