Need help about recolors

Hi. I'm having Nightlife installed but it's almost imposible for me to put the recolors in my download folder; that taking me more than 2 hours and a half to get in the neighborhood (and i'm not even on a lot!!!). Maybe someone knows why it's like that? I never had that kind of problem with University... Please, i need help... :err:

This may be because of your computer specs. The more you add to your game, the longer it will take to load. My main game contains over 10 gigs of downloads, and takes close to an hour to load. I have not tried loading it with all the downloads, since installing nightlife. You might try listing your specs and maybe some one can help you more. Good luck with this!

Here's what I'm having:
Pentium4, 2.8mz, 200GO hard drive, nvidia geeforce, 1GO RAM memory.

Please note that i had the same stuff with University and that took me 20 minutes to get on a lot! I'm not sure if that was a good idea to install Nightlife... :-(

PS: my downloads folder is : 11.82 GO!! Never tought that i had so much stuff!!!

Well, you might want to start cleaning out that Downloads folder... you can't possibly be using all 11 GB of stuff! I used to have 7.5-8 GB and now I have less than 20 files (that's right files) in my Downloads folder. I'm still a downloadaholic, but I am being more picky as to what goes in my game. I don't want to wait 1 hour to load my game even if I have other things to do.

Also, are all those files .package files? If you have .sims2pack, .rar, .zip, or any image files, you need to remove them. Just put them in another folder OUTSIDE the Sims 2 folder.

Oh my bad... I do have more than 20. I totally forgot about all my hacks. Now I can't play without my hacks! :D
