Career icons missing

I summoned Mrs Crumplebottom, by using InSIMenator.
I changed her age to an adult, then I left the lot without saving it, and quit the game.. When I returned, I noticed career icons on my sims's career menu disappear, also walk icon.. What caused the bugs? InSIMenator or Mrs Crumplebottom?

Search for "missing icons" or "missing career icons" and you'll find the answer.

I had this problem a little while ago and basically its happends when the games objects.package becomes corrupt. If you extract a fresh copy of from NL's disc 2 and copy it to the objects folder(default is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\Objects) it should fix the problem(at least it did for me)

Just let it overwrite the old file(back it up first just in case.)

ps. I read in one thread it was caused by the little remote control car.

It's probably crumplebottom caused it. She's controlled to an extent by objects.package, which also handles those icons.

Of course you need to make sure the insimenator is the latest one too.

As T7nowhere said, have a look at this thread for restoring the objects.package, and then this one for ensuring it won't happen again.

since i install the xpansion pack i dont have the career either ANY REQUEST..
