I have made a new outfit in my Pink Rabbit serie. This time it is a kimono.

I work wiht a lot of harajaku insparation for this brand. This week I made a kimono wiht a funky abstract pattern on it. I have used very strong colours and a heavy makeup. I wanted to take the traditioal Japanese kimono and make it very modern. The kimono is made of cotton insted of the traditional silk as the silk is to expensive for the young japanese girl to buy and it is importen for me that anyone can afford it. Under the kimono she wears another kimono, the underkimono is made of white cotton. The belt is made by tartan wool from Scotland. I think it give the kimono a bit of a internatial feel and a fun twist. On her feet she wears traditial silk shoes.

If you look at her makeup you will notice that she has some kanji painted on her face. They says: "Ten thousand speak shallow words" very roughly translated. The red eye shadow is also from our makeup collection.

NB: A big thanks to Rose for letting my use her fabulous mesh.
As for the makeup: I have made the kanji and the eyeshadow, but not the white cake, the eyeliner or the lipstick.
