The Ricardo Connecticut House
The picturesque two-acre property (5x6 lot) that the Ricardos have bought from Mr. and Mrs. Spalding (for a mere $310,000 simoleans) is located in Westport, Connecticut. The main house is two-storied, with exposed beams, a sweeping staircase, and hardwood floors. There is also a guest house, a chicken coop, and a split-rail fence. A flagstone patio is off the kitchen, and, during their first year, the Ricardos and the Mertzes built a barbecue of brick. A den with fireplace is off the main entrance, and it features a television in console cabinetry, and a window out to the porch facing the street. The house is decorated in Early American furniture. There are hook rugs, Windsor chairs, a dining table with lazy-susan, and a china hutch. Back-to-back couches, easy chairs, a coffee table, end-tables - everything is impeccable. Thanks to Betty Ramsey, the new neighbor, and her friendship with Mr. Perry, the furniture man, the Ricardo house becomes a candidate for a "House and Garden" magazine layout. Eggshell-colored pillow cushions compliment the subtle plaid in the upholstered furniture. All that is missing is a rooster-based lamp. Thanks to Fred, the house, the guest house, and the chicken coop are all rigged with an intercom system. Upstairs are a bedroom for Ricky and Lucy, and one for Little Ricky, each with private bath. With a 100-year-old fireplace and built-in bay window seating in the dining area, this country manse is a treasure. Rap on the door knocker, this house is warm and inviting. (Note1: The custom content seen in the pics, or in the case of the invisible driveway, not seen, , are not included in the download which contains only the lot file after being cleaned with clean installer. This includes the fireplaces. If you want them, let me know and I'll try to discover where they came from. Be warned that to use them you must edit a script file in your game.) (Note2: On the left of the first floor you will see empty space. As with most TV homes, the INTERIOR space does not lend to a functional EXTERIOR; so I had to add on. Personally, I think it would be a great area for a home business for those who have OFB. Perhaps a nice little flowershop or bakery for Lucy and Ethel ?) The Ricardo_Seasons file is an updated lot that I modified for SEASONS and requires that EP, and possibly Pets as I had that installed too. The updated lot has a pond, orchard and greenhouse added. The kitchen and master bedroom were also updated with the country theme items. Lot Size: 5x6 Lot Price: 310,000 23 people have said thanks to kattenijin for this download.
