This is the house I use in the screen shots for my fancy butts. It's small with plenty of room to grow. The bathrooms and kitchen are furnished. I used one cheat to make the stairs a bit shorter 'cause they didn't fit and I didn't want to make the house larger. I did have to make it a bit longer (only two foundation tiles) than you'll see in the screenies for my siding because it was just too small otherwise.

Out back there's a small pond with a dock, a starter green house, a small orchard, and room for a pool should you choose to build one. There's also a breeze way style sun porch.

A copy of this lot was play tested for one sim week without problems.
