I'm really excited! I've done a lot of really nice skintones and some lovely magical people for Belladonna Cove. This is my gal, Summer Solstice. She's a summer fairy who sports a wintery skintone--oh the horrors. Well I guess that's to be expected since she is one of a set of twins who happen to have a winter fairy for a dad. At least Summer has vivid blue eyes and sunny hair to remind us she's really a warm weather girl at heart.
The custom content by me that you are getting with this sim:
Winter Fairy Skintone. These are actual in-game screenshots, nothing retouched at all and I hope you'll agree it's a stunning skintone. She's lit with interior lighting in all but one of the shots, but even in daylight her pale skin has some hue to it. It's not just a regular skin that had been run through a desaturation process. No way! Been there, done that and I've instead discovered the joys of fiddling with my white balance controls and doing odd things with layers, LOL!
It's a very pale skin wonderful for vampires, witches who've spent too many nights by their cauldron, or ethereal fairy princesses. There is all the subtle shading and hue you'd expect in a skintone and though it's pale, it's not washed out at all.
Eyes: I made this for the FX2 Series skintone models I'd been working on. I made a slightly heavily saturated version for fantasy style purposes. It's based on the incredible KnightSkyKyte base here: http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=205393 Since I don't have PhotoShop I had to go the oblique way to get the results KSK talks about, but I managed.
Dress Recolor: Okay, the sim comes with the Dark Blue short dress shown in the photos. This is a recolor of the amazing Featured Witchy Clothes Goth Style dress by Sherahbim: http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=253051 and the fabulous mesh by Reisuru is included as per her terms: http://linna.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=897963
I can't remember the process I used to redo the colors but the end result is lots of sparkles on the skirt part of it to look like a galaxy. Generally when I make sparkles on clothes it's done through adding noise on that gray image whatever it's called and then tiny bit of noise on the colored image part. I can't remember if I did that here or not.
The other parts of the sim I did not make but that are included would be the lipstick, the brows, the eyeliner, and the blush.

I can't for the life of me determine the recolor creator because it's not coming up on mouseovers, but looking at the color of the pale one I think it's from this page: http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=145504 And the Paisley one appears to be the work of RavenKitty:http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=144766
I do know that I got all the wings I have from MTS2, so you should be able to find it or something just as pretty when you go to get the mesh and see all the recolors listed.
AquaBlue dress...made by me, and well it's such an embarrassing story. I made it based off of a Club Crymsyn mesh and overall texture, but mistakenly grafted Serahbim's work onto it to make a whole new kind of dress. I had thought I was working entirely with Club Crymsin's textures, and it was just a brain phart on my part, which happens because I do my work late at night into the wee hours of the morning and sometimes I'm halfway asleep already. My apologies to the creators whose work I Frankensteined. Anyway, sorry, because of my goof that dress is not available for upload.
