Picked Upload
Maxis Recolour
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
UPDATED for EP
All these curtains have now been updated for compatability with the upcoming Expansion Pack. The files in the attached zip will overwrite the old versions. Note that if you have any of these curtains in use on your lots they may revert to Maxis standard colours/patterns when you load up the lot. If this happens, just use the in game "Design tool" to reselect the correct design. ********************************************** Here are some new lace patterns and shapes for the Antique Lace curtains. Also included is a recolour of the original Maxis design in black. I also sharpened up the lace effect a little on this as the Maxis one is a little blurry. update: I've created a few new styles and colours using Object Workshop - available in this thread http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=35659 If anyone is interested, the new lace patterns are produced from pictures of genuine antique lace that dates back as far as the 16th century. So, now you can have some real historical artifacts in your Sim's homes! Have fun! **Edited: I came across another lace pattern that looked too good to ignore (the grapes design) so I've added it the the zip, plus added a screenshot. **Edited: 12-30-04 updated zip with fixed versions of styles 2 and 3 (B & W) - fixed minor alpha channel issues. 911 people have said thanks to semloh for this download.
