17th May 2012 UPDATED!!
The University versions now have subsets and uses the repository technique!!!!
And the work is done by wonderful Phaenoh Thank you !!
To update them in your game, simply overwrite them in your download folder, and if you like to make recolours please do!

*********************

UPDATED to basegame compatible and University(EP1) compatible (both with slightly pointy arches).

basegame:These are clones of the "high society pillar, are not multi-story columns (just stick out in air). To place floor above, you need to build walls high up to the level.

University(EP1):These are multi-story columns.

They all do not use the repository technique.
*if you want to change my previous version to Uni. Version, you need to delete the previous ones because they use the same GUIDs.

If they don't work, pls. let me know!!

*********************

This is my first objects creation after completing the basic object tutorial.

I had been looking for gothic style pillars for the Sims2 but could not find it anywhere so decided to make one myself.

Arch A stands in the middle of the room.

Arch B goes along the wall.

Arch C at the corner of the room.

Please see the screenshots below for placement examples.

edit:
*when you place the pillars with two tile spacings, the arch crossings don't work so well.
**because they cover the whole ceiling, you need to acuall y go under the arches to select floor, sims or objects.

***My apologies to all who downloaded my previoius ones and didn't work.

The design is based on Westminster Abbey's church pillar.

Hope you like it.

*PLEASE DO NOT CLONE.

BIG THANKS TO: SimPE All the wonderful MTS tutorials

Polygon Counts:
Pillar A: 1356
Pillar B: 926
Pillar C: 588
