Maxis Recolour
This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Here are four items for a Victorian parlor: Retextured (from Maxis mesh) Floral Grandfather clock, 'Red vs. Blue' Portrait, Celedon Porcelain Vase, and Brocade 'Lap of Luxury' Sofa. The frame on the portrait matches the dark Maxis original sofa frame. I had fun making these, and I hope you enjoy them.
SOME ITEMS ARE "CEP" RECOLORS: Please read about Color Enabled Packages at http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=32448 before downloading and installing this. COLOR ENABLED PACKAGES REQUIRED: These objects were retextured by using the color enabling package feature in SimPE under "Object Workshop." Most objects that had only one color option can now be recolored. You will need CEP for the recolors to show up in your game catalog. Download this at http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?p=119480 I updated all these for the EP, and they're working fine in my game.
