This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

EA Female Eyebrow Overhaul Teen through Elder- Non-Default Version

Look in CAS in Hair/Eyebrows

At the request of Audrey at MTS , with significant suggestions by daluved1 and JAKINCOL , i have overhauled EA's Female Eyebrows, Teen through Elder. Audrey asked if I could make EA's eyebrows further apart. daluved1 suggested redoing the textures, and JAKINCOL further challenged me by asking for custom thumbnails.

I'm happy to say I have completed the non-default version, and conquered custom eyebrow thumbnails, which, I assure you, are very different from other thumbnails and quite a convoluted process. You will find them in CAS in Hair/Eyebrows. The default version is on the horizon, and you can look forward to EA's Male Eyebrows overhaul, along with children's and toddlers'!

Here's how to make sense of the pics:

Unless otherwise stated, the pictures were taken using a young adult model.

This particular picture also contains a sample of the custom thumbnail:

Here's a couple of other samples:

This, by far and away, has been my most ambitious and challenging project, and I have learned a lot during the process.

if you want to try your own hand at making eyebrows for Sims 3, you can find my Eyebrow Tutorial here.

Feedback is appreciated and welcome, and I look forward to reading your comments.

Enjoy!

Additional Credits:
As well as the above-mentioned MTS members, credit goes to the entire Creator Feedback Forum for always telling me what I'm doing wrong. (Did I say that out loud?) LOL! Truly, those MTS members at the CFF really make things happen! And to shadowwolf5889 for Tameless Eye Contacts V1 for one of the best sets of eyes ever

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

TS3 Base Game

You need to be a Registered Member to be able to download from MTS. Registration allows you to thank and leave comments for the creators, see your download history, participate in the discussions and much more!

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
