Title: BV Log Rolling Skills & Fitness Patch
Purpose As distributed, the Bon Voyage Log Rolling object does not build fitness at all, and increases body skills but at a very slow rate. Anyone who has seen or taken part in Log Rolling would realize that participants actually gain a very good workout, and develop great dexterity and timing while doing so. This upload patches the Bon Voyage "Deluxe Log Rolling Pit" so that it builds body skills and fitness at the same rate as the treadmill. The patch also displays a Body skill gain dialogue (in all Sims 2 languages), which was unaccountably missing from the original. If FreeTime or later is installed, Sims also gain Sports Enthusiasm - but this feature was already available in the original. Installation: The package file may be installed in any Downloads folder. If you wish to revert to EA's low-skilling and non-fitness log rolling, simply delete the patch at any time when the game is not running. I would recommend using this patch in conjunction with Pescado's Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm so that this and all other skill building objects are fully functional on all lots.
Technical Note The patch will be incompatible with any other project that modifies the Log Rolling object's Log Rolling - Tuning BCON or the Skill - Start Skill Gain and Route - Leave Log BHAVs. Terms of Use I do not recommend including this patch with uploaded lots because I believe that players should be able to freely choose which patches and hacks they wish to use. Therefore, please ensure this file is only available directly from here. Additional Credits: SimPE and PJSE for Sims 2 for patch creation IrfranView, Microsoft Paint, and Microsoft Photo Editor for picture processing, sizing and labeling Sir Miles is a Marvine & BeosBoxBoy Bodybuilder wearing clothing from The Dark Project 370 people have said thanks to Sophie-David for this download.
