![]() Bluewater Village Micro Mall was built in Bluewater Village, Pleasantview in 1973, by local architect at the time, Mellisa Roomies. The mall became an immediate go-to place for all the local teens, as a hang out spot after school; parents, as a place to take their children to occupy them with something else other than making a mess in mommy's freshly cleaned kitchen; and elders, as a place to meet and greet and catch up on local gossip. The mall killed all other local competition for many years, until new Sims started moving in, and building their own small businesses, with lower prices and friendlier service. The mall was closed in 2003, set to be demolished due to complaints about it being a local eyesore, and magnate for crime. But a local entrepreneur, Malcolm Landgraab, saw the potential this mall still possessed, and bought the land, building, and name from the city, and started executing his plan to take this once local Mom-and-Pop mini mall into a national franchise chain. Today marks the first Grand opening of the first of many malls in the chain. Welcome to Bluewater Village. ![]() The mall features clothing, video games, salon, arcade, food court, bathrooms and management office all on its lower level. Upstairs, there is Children's Corner, grocery store, and pet store with access to the Sim City Aquatic Life Aquarium, or S.C.A.L.A. On the left side of the upper level is a outdoor bakery/coffee bar, with lots of patio tables under the awning.
