Did you read the announcement about the Vampires in the Sims 4 not turning Sims without direction and think, "oh, well that sucks"? Because I did. This mod allows Sims to autonomously ask to be turned into Vampires, and for Vampires to autonomously offer to turn Sims. That's it! Let the Vampire plague begin...

Installation Instructions:
There are three versions of this mod: one that only enables Sims asking to be turned, one that only enables Vampires offering to turn Sims, and one that does both! Only have one of them installed at once! All three options are in the zip file on this page. This mod requires the Sims 4 Vampires game pack. It does not require a new game! This was made with the 1.26 (toddlers) patch, and I will be updating it as needed for game patches until I post otherwise!
  • Sims ask to be turned only: SnowieVampTurn_Ask.package
  • Vampires offer to turn Sims only: SnowieVampTurn_Offer.package
  • Both options: SnowieVampTurn_Both.package
  1. Download the zip file on this page.
  2. Extract the files.
  3. Put *ONE* of the three package files into your Sims 4 Mods folder.
  4. Enable custom content/mods in game and restart the game.
  5. Enjoy!

A final note...
It appears this will only work with friendly relationships. Vampires won't spread the gift of immortality to just anyone!
This mod will conflict with mods that edit the following XML files:

Thank you so much for downloading my mod! This is my first mod, so any and all constructive feedback is welcome! Please let me know in the comments section if the mod isn't working, or if you have any general issues with the tuning of the mod (if vampires are turning Sims too often, for example). As this is my first experience with making my own mod, I don't know how to do a lot of things yet. I would like to be able to tune it so that the Sims will only do the autonomous actions at certain relationship levels, so you could have enemies turn Sims into Vampires too! I would also like there to be a popup box if someone in the household is trying to turn/be turned, so that you can tell them not to if you really don't want it to happen. However, I have no idea how to do any of that! If someone is willing to help me expand the mod in these ways, that would be great, otherwise it will likely stay as it is.

Permissions:
You may not re-upload this mod anywhere. I will keep it updated and will post a notification if I've abandoned it, in which case anyone may continue it as long as they credit me as the original mod creator.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
Read the upload description for installation instructions. If nothing else is specified, do the following:
No Extraction Required (Script Mods):
1. Cut and paste the .zip file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Script mods need to be placed directly in \Mods or one level below that (e.g. \Mods\Scripts) – sub-folders nested any deeper won’t work.
Extraction Required (Everything Else):
1. Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
2. Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\

Need more information?
  • Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
  • If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.
  • Mod still not working? Make sure you have script mods enabled
