This mod is no longer needed as of the November 7th patch - PC 1.36.99.1020 / Mac 1.36.99.1220 as the issue has been fixed.

After looking all over the internet I couldn't find an updated mod that made teen sims put their homework back in their inventory when they finished it. Extra credit and make-up homework don't seem to be affected.
Looking through the resource files the section regarding putting the homework away seemed to be missing. I tried copying it from the extra credit file but couldn't seem to get it in the right place as the notification for completing homework went AWOL.
The Mod
This modding mission was totally inspired by scumbumbo's homework fix mod as I have had that in my folder for a while but lately I had been having some issues that may or may not have been related to it being outdated.
On looking through the resources trying to make this mod I realised that theirs is out of date as it doesn't contain some of the code that was probably added with the latest patch.
So I opened up his mod and made the same change they made just to the section regarding putting the homework book back in the inventory, which regained the notification and made them put it away. Success!
Credit
The credit for this mod very much goes to scumbumbo and his original Homework Fix Mod , I have just updated the single file pertaining to teen homework and what they do with it when they have finished.
Conflicts
This mod will conflict with other mods that edit the following resource:
E882D22F!00000000!0000000000008FA6.Book_Homework_Teen.InteractionTuning
Built with game version 1.30.105.1010 - I don't think this will work with previous versions because of all the changes to the original files.
