Help me plz my downloads wont go on my game

Plz help me. Wenever i download makeup and lots the go on my game ok but wen its clothes,cars,objects ect. they dont go my game. I have floowed the instructions aswel.PLZ help

do you have cep? did you decompress the files so its only .package files in your downlaods folder?

are you sur eyoure going through My Documents/EaGames/Sims2/Downloads and not the files in program folders.

Normaly downloads come in a .zip or .rar formatt dpeending on what you have (WinRaR or WinZip) download the file for you. sometimes there is a read me ... have a flicker through that. then exrtact (in otherwords copy and paste) the object/file or what ever it is into 'My Documents/EaGames/Sims2/Downloads' then load up your game (*It may come up with ............ is not safe to be running on The Sims 2 etc.. dont wory bout that just click 'Enable' and click ok*)
