I can't see my sims

I tried dl'ing sims, objects, houses, etc. You know all the good stuff! And I had no problem with anything (after I learned my lesson with meshes). However, I cannot see any of the sims I downloaded. Usually you can find them in the create a sim section but I'm not getting anything. Any ideas?

They all went to the download folder, I think. I used the Q installer.

Try moving the packages to the Saved Sims folder.

Are you looking in the right gender/ages?

Yes, I downloaded the cutest twins (toddlers) but can't see them. Also some teens and adults, so I should have been able to see custom under almost all of the gender/age groups! I'm so upset because some of them were really good - there are alot of talented people on this site!!

Roedear, do you mean that you also cannot locate the files in your downloads folder? What Jaxad means is that you need to try installing them to your saved sims folder- you need to use the clean installer to go through your downloads and move any genetics, sims or attire to saved sims.
