help!can't install the nightlife patch

im trying to install the nightlife patch, but the message "please insert sims 2 nightlife disc 2" although the disc is in the cd-rom drive. why is this happening? the disc is clean, no scratches and it can be read when playing the game. it just can't recognize it when im installing the patch. hope someone could help. thanks!

Try copying the disc contents to your hard drive:

Also, you could try installing the other patch before you install NL.
