Game Crash!

I don't know if anyone can help or not but here goes,

Ok, I'm having an awful time with my game...everytime I go into the CAS screen and click on create a new sim, my game suddenly crashes!!

You see, I accidentally deleted ALL of my download files and had to reinstall them from the recycle bin...the problem is that there were files in there that were reuploaded along with my good stuff, which I had previously deleted because I didn't like/want it in my game.

Now that I've done the reinstall, the game keeps crashing.

Does anyone know whether or not you can have too much of something that would cause the game to crash?

For example, too many skins, lips, I don't know!!!

PS. I reinstalled with sims2packcleaninstaller, and by doing so got rid of duplicate and conflicting files (such as defaults etc.)


I REALLY don't want to have to uninstall the whole stupid game!!

It's generally not quantity but quality that causes problems. Most likely you have one or more corrupted downloads, most likely Body Shop content, that is causing issues.

That will help you identify where the problem is (most likely in your Downloads folder, though it could be somewhere else, and that has instructions on backing up first, which you should absolutely do) so that you can fix it. :)
