The game (Sims 2 base game, no EP) has started to crash every now and then since a couple of days. I have tried to move the downloads in to another folder to check them a couple at a time, but when I move the downloads Windows crashes with a bluescreen and the text IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. What does that mean?

I have Sims2PackInstaller_v1514 and it shows two InTeenimater files in red. Is that ok, or should I remove them?

InTeenimater - Biological Clock
InTeenimater_B

hmmz.. The game started to crash some time after I had played with the biological clock to se what is does.. I'm not sure that it's the problem, but since it's red in the clean installer.. Maybe it should be red there?

Red entries in Clean Installer indicate that the file is a hack, not necessarily bad just as a way to help identify the hacks/mods vs regular content.

As for the error, this (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810980) is what Microsoft has to say about what causes it and how to fix it.

The problem is solved! My dad found out that one of the RAM sticks in my computer was bad. He removed it and now the problems are gone. The computer technician at his work told him that a bad RAM can cause many different problems, like the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. =P

Well done, nicely solved! I think that the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error can occur in many forms- the code numbers with it will pinpoint the exact problem.
