Does anybody out there know how to make glitter? I tried and looked but have not found a totorial on how to do it. I want just the basic run down on how to make glitter so it will work on clothes, eyes, makeup ect. I have the newest version of Photoshop which is Adobe Photoshop CS2 so if you could give me a totorial on that it would be most appreciated. Well thats about is please answer back bye.

:google: is your friend.
This question is general, and the general answer is to use 'noise' to make a speckled-looking surface, although I have found a few techniques
In this case I searched for 'glitter text photoshop' to learn about the effects used
Ignore the big stars they put on it first, and follow the part where they glitter up the background

I have GIMP, not Photoshop, so googled "glitter text gimp". This gave me tutorial about how to make glittery lettering, but the techniques can be used to make anything glittery.
And here's some glitter brushes
