I have left a game with one of my sims at a business. Now when ever i go back to play that business. I can't switch to live mode. The Live mode button is grayed out. All I can do is Buy and Build. Any idea what can be causing this?

Did you patch your game with the OfB patch?

Your problem was fixed with the OFB patch as Angel F stated above.

The problem can still occur even in a patched game.
Do not save and quit on an owned business lot, and do not visit them with owned cars.

i think i sort of understand the problem now. i don't think it's the patch game thing but a rezoning problem. here's what i did. i downloaded a residential lot rezoned it to a community lot. have one of my sims buy the place. saved and quit while the sim was on the business lot. i'm just wondering if there is a fix to this
by the way, like jordi said, i applied the patch but it still did the same thing
thanks

well it's not a rezoning problem. i created a community lot, purchased it, visited it, saved and quit. went back to it and the live mode is deactivated. the only way i have been able to rescue my sims is to bulldoze the business and going to the sims house

Than try the patch. Also, the lot does have that blue phone thingy, right?
