View Full Version : Some skins look awful in low graphics, others look ok. Why?

So I made a few outfits of my own. Now, some of them look pretty good in the lowest graphics settings, which is what my game really runs best on.

But one of them, a recolor of mohicantunes' Punky Chick collection, looks like mud. I mean, every part of it is just blurred and crappy. However, in the high graphics settings it looks perfect.

Now, the originals that I made the recolor from, those, or at least the one with the pink leopard skirt, looks just fine in low settings. Maybe abit pixelated but not that bad.

So how can I make clothes that will look at least moderately decent in all settings?

I feel like I'm taking Simsample's job here but it's been a couple days. If you searched the Technical / Installation Issues forums, these are the most relevant FAQ's :D

PS - That first step will improve your computer overall, especially if you haven't done that sort of clean up before.
