SimPE assistance

Helo - I want to convert an outfit from female young adult to female adult. I have the latest version of SimPe (just installed today) and yet when I follow the tutorial included elsewhere on MTS2, my SimPe doesn't look like their pictures. I am missing all the tabs except one, and that one looks nothing like the one they show in the tutorial. That tab includes the editable information I need to change the age category. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and does anyone know how to resolve it? Any assistance would be much appreciated!

I have the Plugin View tab, but not the others shown. And my Plugin Tab doesn't show any information - it's just blank.

Ahh, I see what you mean. Mine does not have those tabs either (in advanced mode) so it seems that this information would be obtained a different way. Maybe someone who skins can shed some more light on this!

Plugin View will be blank until you click on a resource that has information viewable in Plugin View - you'd need the Property Set selected before it will show anything.

You don't need to worry about those tabs along the top - the General Overview, Packed File, and Uncompressed Data tabs.

That tutorial uses an old version of SimPE so it does look a little different, but basically it works the same - you open the Property Set in Plugin View and change the age data.

Thank you for your assistance and input. I have double-clicked on the property set in the upper right hand corner for the file I want, and my Plugin View tab, although there, is completely blank. I have tried adjusting settings and preferences and reaaranged the layout to no avail. As I am posting this, I am attempting the process again, with several clothing files, and no data appears in the Plugin View tab. Help!

Can you please attach a screenshot, so we can see what it is you are not seeing?

You can try resetting your layout in the SimPE options, also. And you don't need to double-click the Property Set in the upper right under Resource List - just click on it once to select it.

OK I figured it out - once you click on the Property Set file in the Resource Tree, you then need top click on it in the Resource List for anything to show up in the Plugin View. Thanks for everyone's help!

The things listed in the Resource Tree are just filters. Clicking on Property Set in Resource Tree will have the effect of listing only Property Sets in the Resource List. The resources themselves are on the List side.
