Trying to uninstall and install Sims 2...not working?

Okay, so I quit, but when I uninstalled the games, I uninstalled them all from the Add/Remove Programs folder. When I did this, it didn't delete all the files, and I somehow still have the Sims 2, Celebration Stuff, Nightlife, OFB, and Pets installed.

But when I went to the folders from my Local Disk today and tried to open the uninstaller, they wouldn't open! The Sims 2 isn't even in my Add/Remove Programs folder anymore.

I tried to reinstall the games that weren't on my computer already, and it said that I needed to reinstall Seasons and Pets. Except I can't because 1.) Pets isn't uninstalling because the uninstaller won't run, and 2.) I have lost the code for Pets and I gave Seasons to a friend, who moved away and never gave it back.

So, what I'm asking is this: Is there a way to uninstall all of the Sims 2 programs and delete all of the files on my computer so that I can reinstall everything, without having to download a program or something like that?

Too bad you gave away your disks. Next time you do that, remember to uninstall it first cuz you will have problems trying to reinstall your software later. Software makers force you to use your original disk when reinstalling or uninstalling as a way to protect their business from software piracy. You're not supposed to share your software. You'll have to get the disks back from whoever you gave it to.

MTS2 does not support warz or software piracy.

If you have some computer expertise, you can manually remove the files from your directory and then go into your registry and remove all the Sims2 comments. However, if you don't know what you're doing, you will most likely 'break' your computer's operating system forcing a rebuild of your computer. I recommend taking it to an expert and paying them to remove your files correctly. And sorry, no, I will not tell you how to 'fix' your registry.
