I am trying to recolor (mainly trying to clone) the vintage end table. (I belive it is from AL?) however, it does not show up in the simpe object workshop under end tables or any of the other surface categories. I've looked into several solutions (such as not being installed as administrator, which it was, or not having a new enough version of simpe) and none of those worked to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated!

If you want to clone an endtable, why don't you use one from the base game,
that way everyone can use it and you're sure it'll show up in SimPE. :)

Because I'm lazy. :P Actually, it's because the mesh that I want to clone is very close to the object I want to create. I'm going to have to make lots of changes to the top, but I don't want to have to recreate the entire thing when maxis has done that for me.

Have you checked the file table in preferences? Make sure AL is ticked and then restart simpe.

Being lazy isn't a great trait to brag about. :P There are a lot of users who don't have AL, including all Mac users.

Actually, I'm going to make it BG compatable. I'm just going to... er... "borrow" some mesh pieces from AL. Meaning I have to extract that mesh first to get it. My laziness works out for everyone in the end! I am lazy, but fair.

I checked it, but AL doesn't even show up there. I have the latest simpe and everything, so I really don't understand what's going on. Most of the other EPs show up. All except AL.
