what happened to the parents!?

When I moved my sim from college back into her family's house, I found the two parents FURIOUS at eachother for the wife "cheating"? Is there a glitch or something that causes my game to do this.

Also my sim is engaged to a guy in college, but he will not move in!

Help?

Generally when you get engaged in college what you should do is try to move your NPC and your sim into the same household, get them through college and then he should be able to move in. But since it's happened and done with already I'm not sure what to tell you.

About the parents - some of your playable sims (any of them) visited a community lot, and it is possible that the girls' parents visited too, and the wife cheated on the husband. That's why you found them furious. It hapened to me too, and all I could do is looking at them, because they were uncontrollable...:).
Since then I put in each community lot the Merola's Mind Control Mirror, so I can select an uncontrollable sim, make him controllable, and give him orders.

About the guy to which your sim is engaged - after you moved your sim to her family, and the both of them have celular phone (that's the first "must" buy I do for each student) - she can phone and invite him, then propose to him to move in.
