Age of Empires III/RPGs...suggestions?

Just wondering what people think of it. I played AoE, AoE II and Age of Mythology - have recently rediscovered them and am wondering whether it's worth adding AoE III to the collection. I like the originals but have heard mixed comments about AoE III.

Also wondering if anyone can suggest any good RPGs ala Castle of the Winds type. I adore Castle, but I've played it through so many times that I need something new now.

Actually - suggestions of any good games of either ilk would be greatly appreciated. I'm more or less stuck in bed again, probably for a few weeks with the way things are heading, and I'm going a bit crazy already. Only real requirement is that it be controlled by mouse (which I guess most things are anyway), as I can't really use a keyboard.

I love Age of Empires III- in my opinion, it's the best in the franchise. Historical city-building games are kind of my thing when it comes to gaming, so if you're looking for something else, drop me a line. I highly recommend the Civilization series, Zeus, Pharaoh, and Emperor. They're all a bit older, but I haven't found many new games in the same vein, lately.

Thanks Rabid. I found a free trial download and quite enjoyed it, so will get someone to buy the full game for me. I'll look into the other ones too - I quite like this genre of game as well.
