Okay, This is really my first "Legacy" but I'm not playing by the rules. I'm a first time story writer, so feedback is wanted! :]

Hi. I'm Erik. Erik Richards. I'm an average 26 year old guy, who is single...looking for someone to settle down with. I'm a family sim, I pretty much like the whole idea of having six kids running around the house. Until then, one will have to do. I just moved to Pleasantview. I plan to kick off my career, while dating, to find my love, of course.

Eliza Drake. She's a beauty. She'd just moved to Pleasantview too. I was ashamed because she was the only neighbor I paid attention too. Boy was she awesome. I talked to her for about half an hour...mostly joking about work. We really hit it off well.

"Yeah, It's no problem. I just want to show some hospitality. Maybe get to know you better."
"Okay, I'd like that. I have to go...bye."
"Bye."

Smooth. She sounded suprised to get a call from me. I was suprised that she answered. Maybe I will have a chance at Eliza Drake...

I decided to take Eliza out to a dinky little cafe..Cafe' Bueno, as I recall. It was really small, and cramped, but It was only Eliza, and me, dining. It was nice. Romantic music playing in the background, and candles on the table...wow.

It was done. Eliza and I are engaged. I know it's soon, but I think it's for the better. I have realized that I can't live without her.

Since Eliza and I are engaged now, I decided I was going to start fresh, with a new career. I'm now a Field Sales Representative. How Exciting...not! Work, is great, but I'm more of the home type. I like to sit and read. About food! How odd. But it'll have to do for now.

And, for some odd reason, Eliza agreed to move in with me. There's no room for either one of us. I had to trade in my comfty double bed, for two single beds. Awful! We have been looking around for a house though. There's this beautiful new house around the corner..three bedrooms, two baths..WITH A GARAGE!!! I placed an offer for 16,000...

The day we moved into our new house, Eliza and I decided that we were going to throw an impromptu wedding party, and get married right in the backyard...and we did. It was a blast! Everyone, well Mortimer and Jake, had a good time. The photographer took numerous pictures, so here are a few form our album...

As I was cleaning up the dishes from breakfast, I saw Eliza clinching her tummy.

"Liza? Are you okay?"
"Yeah..Sure, I just need to lay down."
"Okay..well call me on my cell if you need anything. Once I finish up here, I'm going to the Market to pick up a couple of things."
"Alright hun."

When I came back, I caught her out of bed. From the smell of puke in the toilet, she had just came from the bathroom.

"Erik, there's something I have to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Honey, I'm pregnant."
"What?!"
"I'm pregnant."
"No, not that..I'm gonna be a daddy!! Oh my goodness! I have to paint the bedroom, go buy a crib..."
"Erik! Slow down! I'm just three months! You have six whole months to do all of that!"

From that point on, I hugged her, and I kissed her tenderly. I'm going to be a dad!

To tell you the truth, my relationship with Eliza has never gotten better! Though, I'm the working man of the house, she's pregnant. Every morning I get up at six to make her favorite blueberry pancakes. I rub her back after I get home...mmm...LOVE.

Oh, I'll get the promotion. Thanksgiving is near, and our poor house dosen't have enough elbow room for our close friends...

Home Sweet Home. I sent Eliza off for a week to some kind of spa for pregnant women. While she had her little mud baths, I hired a contractor to re-build our house on our current lot. I loved the view of the woods and I couldn't let it go.

That next morning, at 3:40 AM, Liza woke me with a loud yell. I hopped out of the bed and started screaming. I didn't know what to do. Was I supposed to call the Paramedics, get some boiled water or what? All I did was stand there in our bedroom and watched her give birth.

That night, we celebrated Thanksgiving early...no party, or anything. I figured our neighbors weren't going to come anyway, since they all had family coming to town. I did get a kick out of it. Instead of the traditional turkey, Eliza served up some delicious roast. Oh, and did I mention that I quit my job? Yeah, It was a split decision. I had got an offer from the Pleasantview Times to work as a Typesetter. Since promotions do come easy, I'll soon be on my way to the top..as a Talk Show Host!

So, little Ethan finally grew into a toddler, and he has quite the noggin on him. He learned how to walk and talk on the same day! I'm so proud. I just love him too much. Me, on the other hand, I've been too busy with work to even spend time with him and Eliza. I go to work, come home, eat dinner, and go to bed. Between that time, there's no bonding going on with us. That's what we're lacking.

That evening, I came home form work and decided I'd go play with Ethan for a while. Like always, when you toss him in the air..he pukes. And he did. Also that night..Dana decided she'd give me a call. We talked for a while, and I could tell she still had feelings for me. I'm not buying it though.

Dana decided to give Eliza a visit. I don't know why, but she's starting to linger around our house a lot.

"Eliza..I'm sorry about the phone call. I never meant it to turn out the way it did."
"Dana, you're full of crap, and you know it! Do you take my for a fool?"
"No.."
"Well, I know you still have feelings for Erik. Stay away from him and our family!"
"Eliza! Please.. I don't want this to wreck our friendship."
"Stay away from him Dana, and I mean it!"

Unfortunately, Dana hid behind the house and started walking towards the driveway when I pulled up. I was walking towards the mailbox when she appeared.

That night, at 6:16 PM, a baby girl was born! Elizabeth Richards. Tiny little thing at five pounds, six ounces. She's gonna be a daddy's girl...

OMG!!! I'm so hating my computer and my game right now. Pleasantview has disappeared, and I have no way of retrieving the Richards family.
