Photoshop is allowed. If you read the first page. I think under rules. But some rounds when noted, you can not use Photoshop. I know what you mean, I don't like taking in-game pictures! I don't do well with that like some others do. :anime:

You can use it for the application round. But I said some rounds some pictures you can't. When I put the rounds up, I will say maybe one or 2 pictures can't use photoshop. My rounds are usually 3 pictures each round. Unless I put up a special task so everyone can get extra points.

To everyone else, your sim doesn't have to have grey or white hair. It can be any color you want, but it has to be an elder. This contest will be run as if it was a young adult sim. Nothing will be different. She will have to do the same things the young sims do in a beauty contest! Old sexy mommas :jig:

I always try to end the rounds around the weekend. I know people work and go to school. So usually I post the rounds in the middle or end of the week, so everyone has plenty of time to work on their pictures. I also give 4 days for the pictures to be in. I hope this helps :)

I didn't want to enter the pageant at first. It seemed silly, for someone at my age to parade around and wave a big "Look at ME!" flag. But my son, Michael said something that changed my mind.

"You should do it, Mom. You'll meet lots of other people, you'll get out of the house and I bet you'll like it!"

I took this to translate as, "Why don't you do something fun, instead of coming over here and cleaning everything I've already cleaned?" So. Here I am.

I'm going to make a suggestion here that will help you and anyone else. When I first started doing the contests, I had no idea what I was doing! AND I'm still learning! The walls have to be up in the house. People will lose points for that. The sim needs to be placed on a plain colored background. Here is a download that I found from another contest that you can use. I have these walls and floors also. They work just fine and the person that put that download up, does wonderful work! Here is the link to the download walls/floors.

Yes, I forgot to put that. You need to say who the host is and a few words saying what the topic is. You don't have to download the host, but if you want to you could. Just make a sim with the same color hair and eyes of the host you want. Maybe he wears glasses etc.

You have me a bit confused. Your runway shot doesn't look photoshopped. Just maybe the snake. When I say no photoshopping I mean basically the background. However, you can add things to your picture from tubes-pohotoshop. effects are ok also. But not to over do it.

No names or talking. You can put the shows name in there if you couldn't find a background that already has one. As a matter of fact, the shows name must be in there for the game show.

Just letting you know before judgiing starts. Sorry beki, I thought she was watching TV. I didn't scroll all the way to the end. You still have to resize it tho :)

Task 1. Interview with a TV Host.
Here you will be sitting and talking with a popular day/night time TV talk show host. It could be anyone you want. Example: Lets just say- David Lettermen-Leno-Conan etc. It could also be a popular host from your country or state. There must be 2 sims in this picture, your girl and the host. She should be wearing something not too sexy. Hair and everything else is up to you. Photoshop allowed for this picture.


Task 2. You being a game show host.
You have been asked to HOST a TV Game Show. It could be any game show you like! She must be standing and actiing like she is hosting the show! Example: Deal or no Deal~Wheel of Fortune~The $20,000 Pyramid etc. If you google search for wallpaper of your game choice, you will find plenty. Outfit-hair-makeup-is up to you. But nothing over the top! Photoshop allowed for this picture.


Task 3. Show them what you got!
Runway picture. You will be wearing one of the formal outfits from the link I have posted below. It could be any dress-gown on that page that you want! But it has to be one of them.... It doesn't matter if someone picks the same outfit. If you don't have any CC. Pick something formal that looks pretty! She can not just be standing still-sitting etc. She must be walking or posing standing up, as if she was doing the catwalk. Hair up and light makeup. No Photoshop allowed....... :anime:

Kusama, it's ok with me her wearing the same outfit. But the judges will have the last word. Sometimes it is better to change the hair and outfit for different pictures. But seeing you already made then, it's up to the judges what they look for. And my judges really LQQK :kami: TV show picture? I have all this posted in the tasks. In the game show, she should be standing. In the other, sitting and talking with a host of your choice.


Dreea. I just looked again and it doesn't Holiday Stuff Pack. I have 2 of those dresses and I don't have that pack. I know what you mean! My PC is only a year old and giving me problems!! But again, it does not require that pack.

No thats ok. It reminds me of a Martha Stewart show that she hosts. Looks wonderful! Nice job!

To anyone else (trying to make it easier on you), you can also use Martha Stewart as a host. OR even a Home Shopping host. This is NOT for the Game show, only for talk show host.

Yes Charley there is. But thats always expected in a contest. Thats why I wanted as many apps as I could get. :) It wasn't a matter of being greedy! I'm not like that. Well look at it this way. Ok, I was looking at the list of entries. We are missing 4. Some didn't post pictures and some are missing pictures. SO, I believe that will leave us with 12 entries, which is still good. I decided there will be NO one leaving. You all did such an amazing job, I think you all need another chance :)I will close the round at 8:00 and send a PM to the judges. This way you still get your scores and know where you stand. There will be NO judges comments. If you want a comment, PM a judge or me and we will gladly let you know where you should improve. BUT in a nice way! I'm glad everyone liked the round! :)
