View Full Version : Milkshape 3D - Change Face on a Cylinder?

I was hoping someone could help me with this. When i texture the image, it stretches onto the side of the cylinder, rather than the base.
Is there any way to possilbe fix this?

I think (if I'm interpreting the issue correctly -- you want to texture the large oval-ish area that is now white?) you need to change the UV map, rather than the mesh itself. See JWoods' "Start To Finish Object Creation" tutorial (stickied in Tutorials for Object Meshing (http://www.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=541)) for how this works.

An easier fix... Go into the Texture Cordinate editor, and change the map from front to anything, and click remap. Keep changing it to find what works best.
