Seems simple but I can't figure it out

I am attempting to build my house in real life...(Who hasn't?) It's perfect except for one little problem.

I need to connect the two pieces. The gap will be filled in by the foundation, the stairs will go on the black line, and the other walls will stay. This seems so freakin' simple but I can't figure it out!

Any help is appreciated.

Turn off CFE, and then build it.

You can't connect walls to foundations. Instead use 1/4 walls for your foundation and contect it that way. To do that, make the outline of your foundation, turn on the constrainfloorelevation false code, and level out the terain from a foundation and onto the walls. Then build the actuall walls ontop of that and connect the two.The walls will be warped, but it's better than nothing.
