I can t save (error code 12)

Hello, I have a big problem here, I can t save the game, it say me error N12.
I have removed download folder, mods folder, I have reinstalled the game, etc. First, the game worked fine for many months, suddenly start this error.
I can t play any more, ¿what can I do?, greetings and thanks to all.

Here's my suggestion (which may or may not work for you):

1. Download Awesomemod (make sure you have the right version for your patch).
2. Use the cheat "resetworld"

The game should freeze for a little while, as it is cleaning up alot of bugs. Try "Save As..." and hopefully the game will save properly.

Ok, now I save the game properly (several times), I only put awesomemod, that cheat "resetworld" not work and say me "Unknown command" or something like that, anyway the problem seems solved, ............but...!
I have a new problem..., I updated to version 1.7.9 to install the EP, and now the game does not read my CC, (I have not yet installed the EP), and the mods and packages are in the right place and also that .dll..., uff... I m tired...

Not all of the CC you have will still work in 1.7.9.

Remove all your CC, reinstall the framework, and then test what CC still works and what doesn't. Also read this thread: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=379085 -- it's not only a problem with WA, also with the 1.7 base game.
