My Sims can't marry..

I took my girl-sim to France and she met a nice guy there. They got engaged there and I saw the get married button but wanted to wait for them to come home. So I added the guy to my household, brought him back to Riverview. They are engaged still, but the get married button doesn't pop up. Neither can I throw a wedding party. What can I do? I already tried to break up and get engaged again, but that didn't work. Maybe something bugged while I brought him to Riverview?

hmm, that's pretty weird. did you try socializing until the other sims thinks the other is very alluring? some options shows when the person thinks diffrent about another.

nah i already figured it out, they couldn't marry because the guy had a broken heart from breaking up.
