Game goes to desktop after Sims 3 opening

Hi after I open my game and it starts playing it shows the sims 3 icon and then the video after that, then it goes black and asks me if i want to send an error report. No matter what I tried it won't work, deleting cashe files, no mods, sending the error report, unistalling and reinstalling, ect. All i got is the base game if that is an issue and I need an EP please let me know. I would be greatful to the one that can help me get my game to play once more. :help:
