Email and thread posting issues

I've tried to start a thread many times and i'd come back later, but couldnt' ever find the thread.

I'm not very experienced with the community discussion part of the site, so i'm sure i'm doing something wrong.

But I've paid close attention to what i'm doing while i try to post the thread and I can't see any mistakes I'm making. My threads I start just aren't showing up at all.

It was a basic gameplay question i tried to post in the Ambitions section.

Also I tried to update my listed email address to my newer one, and the site won't seem to let me change that either.

Maybe i'm just really tired, but I'm really confused to what I'm doing wrong

kletus4pres It is probably just the cache being a wee bit slow. Sometimes changes you make can take a while to show up. Try looking at your email tomorrow, it will probably have been updated just fine.

I started one yesterday three different times about the Consignment store in Ambitions. Usually when you start a thread, it will take you to the thread after it's made. It didn't for me. It just took me back to the forum instead.

I don't know why it won't let me change my email. That's the point of this thread, to find out the why :help:

I think you're right about that. It just now finally shows the changes to my listed email.

Now if I could just figure out why my other posts aren't showing up

Yes - but I meant why can't you change your email? Is there an error? Will the page not load? Do monkeys eat all your pasta if you try?

The thread you mentioned is showing up fine, under Sims 3 Help, posted yesterday at 6.41pm. Potentially you did jut run into a caching problem when you posted it yesterday - it's most definitely there now.

The thread i started showed up too. But I've never had it take 3 days for the thread to arrive. It's been a long time since I was active around here, but i don't remember it taking that long. I'm not complaining. I couldn't live without MTS.

I just maybe should have been more patient I guess. Thanks for everyone's help
