sims 3 serius problem

Hi!A few days ago i wanted to play the sims 3 as usual( i had the base game,ambitions and ea download manager)then from ea download manager i had a message from a new update and then i installed it but from then my sims 3 stoped working!When i am going to start it it closed and a message pops up that it says something related with "0x02..." and when im going to unistall this a problem appeared and says that it cant be unistall either tha base game either amitions!Pls help me!Want can i do to fix it? :( :help:
