I'm trying to download a mod for my Sims 3 game, and it says to save the DLL file in the simbin. What is that? I have searched all of my files, i think, and I can't find a folder called Simbin. Is it the SavedSim folder? I've got windows XP.

I dunno wtf you're downloading, but you shouldn't ever need to download DLL files to use CC, and you definitely don't need to download them into the sim bin. What are you downloading?

That is a very old and outdated mod, what is your game version? If it's anything other than 1.7.9 for the Base Game, you can't even use it.

I've got 1.17 base game. Oh. Thanks.
but i've seen it on other things so, I still need to know what the simbin is. Seeing as that was my question(:

The "Bin" for the context of this outdated mod is in...well, \The Sims 3\Game\Bin\ folder in Program Files where the executable files are.
In the context of Sims in game is the Bin for Custom made Sims in CAS Game_Help:DFDD10_Where_to_Look#Sims.
