I need a link where I can download helper monkey from. I wanted to know anything that I download can I just put it in the download folder?

The Monkey is no longer available or necessary, but EA changed the way downloads work so now it's dead easy. Two folders, download one file, plop files in a specific folder. Easy easy! :)

while which folder can I just put everything in the downloads folder?

You can't just put everything in the Downloads folder, as that's not where it goes. You can only put .sims3pack files in there, to then install them to your game using the Launcher.

Once you get the two folders and one file set up, you'll put everything in your Mods\Packages folder. The link I gave explains how to do all that. :)

Where do I put sim files at will they go in the mods/packages folder also?

Nope, they go in the SavedSims folder... that is, My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims

I have switched from using the monkey to installing cc the right way. It works great, but I still have the monkey icon on all my files. How do I delete the monkey now that its not needed?
