Recovering game

Short story: game got F'd, had to uninstall everything and install a fresh Sims 3 lineage.

I backed up my downloaded CC, "SaveGames" and "SavedSims" folder. Will i be able to just place those folders back into my new installation and start where I left off? Or am I kaput?
