Hey everyone,

Ok a while ago I made some meshes and I put them into .sims3pack files. I made them with TSRW and for some reason I did a spring clean a while ago and got rid of all the TSRW files I had, including the texture files and mesh files. Bad move. Anyway I realised I still had the .sims3pack files installed in my game so they are in my downloads folder now. Anyway, I hadn't finished the meshes completely and I have no idea what the poly counts are.

So I was curious, is there any way that I can extract the mesh files from the .sims3pack or they gone forever? :(

Thanks in advance,
DD

You can import the sims3pack into tsrw, but I thought someone mentioned once the new package may be wonky. No idea if that is still true, but once imported you have access to the meshes and textures to export. You can also use Delphy's mult extractor to make them into packages to open in s3pe, you can find this under his profile.

Ooh brilliant, thanks a bunch for your help, I'll give the first one a go to see if i can salvage the textures too. But failing that I'll attempt the multi extractor :) Woo, i thought it had all gone down the pan! Thanks again!

If you are going to extract them use the TSRW version you made the sims3pack with, unfortunate the latest version(and the WSO plugin) is not compatible with older versions :(
