Extacting ingame artist statue

I'd like to replace the gmdc& testures on the apartment life artist moving statue found in community lots where people stand & give tips you know?. What is it called& where do I looks for it to extract it& is it wise to replace it with my owngmdc6 textures&even change it to opposite sex? Thanks for any help.

The GMDC is in the following folder: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSData\Res\3D\Objects03. It's called "humanStatue_root_rot_gmdc" (there's also an LOD mesh to go with it). However, it doesn't look like any of the mesh parts are the actual statue. There's the tip jar and shadows and a pillar (I guess that's what the statue stands on).

The actual statue GMDC appears to be in the Sims03 folder. The only one I could find was a male body: "amBodyHumanStatue_tslocator_gmdc". I guess you could replace that file with a female-shaped body, but then your statues would all be female.

Thanks a lot FP7. i found the GMDC but wher are the texture cause,I backed up a stage and went to skins where they're all listed but when I found ambodyhumanstatue,& clicked on it the only thing I find is whole bunch of names &specification but no texture to extact& make a new replacment package? I must be a little confused cause I've already default replaced a lots of clothing& I remember being able to actually see the texture to export them. Any Idea? :turtle: :beer:

The textures are in the "Sims08" directory.

Thanks a lot FP7. I suppose it's the same procedure as default replacing clothes&such like making a package with the original GMDC & textures being overwitten by my stuff right? .Have a nice day. i'll try it.
