Yesterday I sent my sim to a night club and noticed that proper music disappeared: instead of songs from "house mix" the DJ was playing default Maxis music, that melody you can hear when you switch to buy\build mode. The same goes for other categories, except "fast", which was playing proper music.
When sims listen to music at home, it seems to be correct (salsa, techno, pop, classical) although I didn't check all of its categories yet.
My question is where is the music situated? I looked into the AP folder named TSdata\res\sound, it contains files with names of music stations, but not all of them. It's build, buy, CAS, College Rock, Misc, Neighborhood, Pop, Techno, and some other random files named "sfx" or "voice". I also checked this folder in other expansions, in NL there are more files in this folder, for example, and it contains the house mix package that is missing in the AP folder. But I have no idea what that means, are these packages the actual music files that are played during the game?
In the folder that is situated in My Documents I can see the folder "music", with other folders with music categories in it, but all of them only contain one file named "settings".
