Hello (:

I remember a cartoon I watched when I was younger (Probably the late 90's or at the beginning of 00's). I believe it was send at Fox Kids.

It was about this different world where animals lived and where they could talk. In every episode, a human child (or two) experienced a problem in their life. When they went to bed a light would pick them up and transport them to the animals world, and the children would help the animals solve some kind of problem and learn something from it.
I remember that sometimes the children was mean and were send to the animals to learn from their mistakes.

Anyway, does anyone remember the name of this cartoon?

Sounds like Care Bears. Although I vaguely recall a show like this that wasn't Care Bears-like at all. I didn't like Fox Kids much when it was aired, though. I was much more of a Cartoon Network kind of girl, and when I got into the kind of thing they broadcast on FK, they were all about the Totally Spies! and Life With Louie. Then they changed the name to Jetix and now it sucks.

Edit: A good place to start your search would be on TV-tropes (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FoxKids).
I don't think you should expect much help from the MTS community with the information you've provided, though. According to both Wikipedia and TVtropes, Fox Kids was never even an actual network in the US, so that would narrow things down a bit. Additionally, things are typically aired later over here than they are in whatever the country of origin of the series in question was. What you're talking about was aired in Denmark around 1999/2000, so it was probably more of a '97 thing.
It might not even be an original Fox Kids show.

Also, am I remembering wrong, or did these animals live inside a huge tree?

It's not Care Bears :P

Totally Spies and Life with Louie were amazing as well though. I remember the show as being sent before Digimon got on Fox Kids xD

I think you're thinking of Shirt Tales from the early 80's.

I looked this up, but it doesn't seem to be it. The animation style is familiar, but a lot of shows from that time period seem to have used the same pastel semi-realistic drawing style. And even with syndication taken into account, I don't remember the early nineties, much less the early eighties! Thanks, though.

Speaking of shows that were aired on Scandinavian Fox Kids, did anyone watch Black Holsey High (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Hole_High)? I've later come to realise that it had a tone very similar to Buffy, which is an interesting discovery to make. Too bad it never got a DVD release.

I used to love Black Holsey and its campy graphics. It felt more of a mixture of The Secret World of Alex Mack (if anyone remembers that gem) and Buffy for me though... I think it was just the fact that it heavily revolved around teenagers dealing with scientific-phenomenon'esque themes (which is extremely similar to Alex Mack... minus the chemical spill). Good times.

I feel the same way about The Adventures of Pete and Pete from early Nickelodeon. I didn't like it or get into it much when it first aired, because I was pretty little, and all about the cartoons, whereas the show was live-action and mean for kids over age seven. I ended up really liking and appreciating the show and it's quirkiness in later syndication, however (this guy (http://www.youtube.com/user/mustafaFLOUTStheDMCA) has uploaded the first couple of seasons to YouTube if anyone wants to check it out).

Also, are there any other details about the show you might be able to give us? No offense, but the whole "magic talking animals who help and befriend children" genre is kind of a really broad one. Maybe details about a specific episode you could clearly remember?

Yes, that's probably why I didn't understand it - Because I was too little :P I really like to rewatch TV shows and cartoons, also why I want to find this one again, just can't ^^,

For some reason, I think of Dragon Tales. I think that's the title.
