Using the "Slack off" style of work does not slow or reduce any of my Sims job progression enough to stop them getting promotions. I do my best to avoid building the skills required to progress but they still end up getting a promotion. I want to create a family who stay as the "underdogs" so to speak. Average house, average grades, average jobs, and so on. Too many of my sims end up at the top of their career before they reach adulthood due to my tendency to play on long lifespans.
I have Awesome Mod and I know I can use that to bump up the difficulty of job progression but if I install that feature, it'll stop progression for ALL of my Sims which is not what I want. I also know that I can use testingcheatsenabled to set job levels but I also don't want to have to do that every few Sim dayss.
I want to know if it's at all possible to stop/severely slow down job progression for a single Sim or family without it affecting the entire neighbourhood?
