I've been looking at sims hands lately just to find out how ugly & scary they look sort of like spicies mixed between an alien& human. Anyways I've seen Blooms sexy feet so, I thought giving it a try with milkshake soon to find out it's the wrong tool for the job.
If you Blooms are around, can you give me a pointer at which tool shall I be using instead to create some normal looking hands. I appreciated it & sincerely I don't know who else I should ask since you're the first that made those sexy feet. I just want them to look normal and not like claws. You follow me? Thanks for any help. :turtle:

I would love to be made more realistic hands for the sims 2, for those who still use "Sims 2" to give more life and perfection this game. In fact long ago I saw a picture in which PeggySims promoted a bracelet, and I thought they were changed hands for the sims two most beautiful ... look.

You can see where it ends and begins hand wrist by a small change in skin tone, and looks like a hand added. see?
greetings

greetings I see what you mean exactly. They look nice & not like sims hands.
I see someone has already done this. Another thing that bugs me about their hand is that, when for example I put my sims on an exercise bicycle, their wrist looks as if it can break. I mean ithas a funny angle.
I checked out the bone assignment in milkshake, sure enough there's nothing unusuall about it so, it is probably unfixable because, it most likly has to do with the way maxis made the animation. When they hold the bicycle grip, the rotation which occurs involving forarm, wrist& the hands, is not completly coordinated. Another word, the forarm does not follow the wrist completely so, the wrists look very sort of distorted but, in MS, looking from top view, they look completly normal & have normal bone assignment.
I was hoping that the creatore of the sexy feet would show up & tell us all whichprogram he used to create them. I've been wanting to make more decent hands but milkshake doesn't have such abiity.
Muchas Gracias, Arriva Derci, Buenas Dias. :Pint:

The programs are typically used for meshes, are "milkeShap3D" and "3dmax" I use the "MS3D" although some say this late. if I can create something, I'll put here, though not totally dominated the allocation of "joint" in the body, but I can try. Some experts have if encouraged and assistance in this request.
Regarding the "broken wrist" bikes, I guess it's due to poor allocation of points on the skeleton of the mesh. It also often happens with the feet of some meshes

Hi: I used be bothered by how sims feet looked weird but, not anymore since, I created my own mesh. The only thing I'm not still quite satisfied with is also the hip movement. I used to have my females dancing at the ballet barre but, it looks ugly when they make a certain movment especially around the hipps. I have not yet seen one mesh that someone try to correct that area. I'm talking about waist line& pelvice& thighs. Also when the sit to talk.
There are 3 bones involved. If I get to it someday, I like to coordinate the bone weight around that area so, when sims ladies are doing dance or even playing violin for example, they use the spine0,pelvic & thigh bones. That's bad bone assignment maxis has done as, there's sharp corners sticking out of their bodies just in that area& it looks plain old ugly.
As far as better looking hands, I think one probably need either Blender or 3dmax. The reason I asked for help, was to get some reassurance cause, I know for sure one can not create such thing with milkshake. One has to struggle just to make a few faces& split them to create a line of vertices. It's an uphill battle. Although MS is good as a general meshing tool. BTW, the part about feet joints is completely correctable unlike what I mentioned about hands because, Sims hand look fine with most movement but, just for exsmple when they sit on an exercise bike & hold the handles, the animation is not correct. The only way to correct that would be if someone with animation experience would take on the task & make a default replacment package for them as playing around with bone assignment is useless since, it can only get worse I think. I'm saying that cause, I looked at the bone assignment in MS as I was studying them. I could be wrong. Have a nice day. :) :Pint:
BTW, I just looked at your page & I think you're quite an artist portraying celebrities so good. Keep up the good work.

i once edited the hands a little.
You find them at insimadult on the Rubens bodyshape.
You can use the hands if you like, just do not use the bodyfile!

BTW are you still interested in sims2 creation or playing the game? I've seen if not all, most of the stuff you've made. I garra say you make lots of fun items. Keep up the good work Blooms.
